Cover for a saucy novel!




 


First off, some pics I've been messing around with over the last few months:

I did a 'mini twitch' last Oct for a Grey Phal at Edderthorpe Flash. This bird seemingly appeared with a shed load of other storm-driven goodies in the Barnsley area, I recall, including several Gannets and a Red-throated Diver, which I was extremely jammy to drop on up at my old stomping ground of Scout Dike!
Twenty Five Shades of Grey is an apt title for this early effort, as I tried to convey the drizzly, overcast conditions that morning. If accomplished bird artists can give their work a name why not  beginners like me!
