Great White Hope

Spent a couple of hours with the GWE at Old Moor one evening a few weeks ago. Talk about elegant and stately! Proudly walking about the wader scrape, it gave me several opportunities to nail some egret-like shapes. This is the one I settled on. The photo of the pic shows the bird taking too much of the picture, but in real life there's a nice white surround, if anyone wishes to purchase it - ah, ah, ah!
I've tried to keep the background obscure and bring the bird to the forefront where the reflecting shoreline is. A long way to go with this, as it ultimately makes the picture, but I feel I'm making some progress!
