Who's a pretty boy? Not me!

Away from the norm this one. I was 'cajoled' into producing this some time ago! Whilst enjoying a lovely city break in Malaga in 2013 we came across parties of Monk Parakeets down by the harbor. Jump back in time to 2006 and a birding trip to Fuerteventura and I remember this species being on the Wanted list! Even though it's definitely a 'plastic' species I recall being cheesed off when a certain MCW from Stocksbridge saw the only bird of the trip whilst I was looking for far more engaging species! So, finally 'un-gripped'! Drawn from a photograph (Blasphemy!); this was a useful exercise and a chance to use some unfamiliar colours, but more importantly the customer was pleased!
