Two's Company

A quickie today, whilst I beaver along with recent projects. Lapwing and Golden Plover are two familiar sketching subjects, and regularly seen in the same field of view  down Old moor. So,  a very typical scene in very un-typical coloured pencil! I'm managing to capture the lappie's iridescent upperparts a bit better, which contrast with the goldie's much more complex plumage. The water needs a more work and careful observation, though. Field sketches are currently lost among other reams of rubbish at the moment!
Thanks for looking.
